Demonstration: First of all, Butcher Chris Forster will demonstrate the traditional way to butcher half a lamb. He will then show you some alternative ways to butcher certain cuts to produce some different special pieces that you can do at home with any lamb that you buy.
Guidance: Next you will get to take hold of the knife! You will start with your own half lamb, and with Chris’ expert guidance you will butcher it. Chain mail gloves will be provided for your safety.
Pack it: We will finally pack your half lamb up into individual cuts and label them for you to take away. It is great to tell people at a dinner party that you butchered their mail with your own hands.
What you get
At the end of the experience you will have the knowledge required to butcher a lamb into what we call primal cuts. We will show you how to neatly butcher 1/2 a lamb and explain to you what the different cuts are and how they can be used.
